dc.description.abstractA recent study at the Open Univerity in Yorkshire reveals that tablet PC technology can help 'blend' face to face and online teaching activities. This case study concerns the use of tablet technology for teaching Creative Writing and English at a distance learning institution. It concludes that tablets can be used to enhance the face to face teaching experience in a way that encourages greater participation in related online activities.
