Abstract
The present research is about the change of teachers and questions the
process of teacher education and the change process occurred during and
after their action research projects. It involves four teacher education sites,
integrated in programmes of Lisbon University, Faculty of Psychology and of
Education Sciences, where I was implicated as educator and researcher. This
paper presents the research results of the multi site case study. This research
is inscribed in a complexity perspective, where there is a dialogue between
research approaches, by the assumption of the problematic nature of
research, subject to continual revisions. It is a dialogue based on common
assumptions about the subjective and contextualised nature of problems, the
continual and non-linear nature of change and the reflexive character and selfcriticism
 of research processes.
