Abstract
The effects of blended-learning in Agricultural Chemistry course is presented in this article. To evaluate the students� perception of the virtual learning environment on Moodle platform, a survey was applied and the data were compared to the partial and final results of the course. In general, active participation was correlated to academic success but the final performance was not as good as expected considering the present advantages of Information and Communication Technologies in education. The main conclusion is that the virtual learning environment was less used than projected due to the lack of students� discipline and also the lack of their time organization
En este trabajo se analiza la implementación de la modalidad mixta de aprendizaje en un curso universitario de Química Agrícola. Mediante una encuesta se obtuvo la percepción de los estudiantes sobre el entorno virtual, en la plataforma Moodle, la que se contrastó con los resultados parciales y definitivos del curso. En general, la participación activa en la propuesta se correlacionó con el éxito académico pero el rendimiento final no fue el esperado, si se consideran las potencialidades de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación en la enseñanza. Se concluye que el aula virtual fue subutilizada debido a la falta de hábitos de estudio y de organización del tiempo por parte de los estudiantes.

Export search results
