Abstract
In an attempt to widen the scope of their activities and conform to the European Space for Higher Education (ESHE) European traditional universities are trying to incorporate virtual campuses to their academic offer. Among these, Universidade da Coruña (UDC) has launched a set of projects whose aim is to assess -from practical experience- the suitability of e-learning as a valid didactic tool, as well as testing the adaptability to e-learning of institutions originally intended for in-situ learning. Focusing on the perspective of the student, this paper aims at presenting the results of the analysis of two on-line subjects, whose progress was tracked along a whole academic year
