Tapahtuman järjestäminen Case: Mobiilikesäkoulu 2014

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön aiheena on Mobiilikesäkoulu 2014 -tapahtumassa toteutettu haastattelututkimus tapahtuman osallistujille. Tutkimuksella selvitettiin osallistujien mielipiteitä tapahtumasta. Tutkimus toteutettiin haastattelemalla tapahtuman osallistujia tapahtuman aikana. Tavoitteena oli selvittää tulevien Mobiilikesäkoulujen kehittämistarpeita.

Opinnäytetyön teoriaosa muodostuu tapahtuman järjestämiseen, mobiiliuteen ja mobiilioppimiseen liittyvistä asioista. Tämän jälkeen esitellään Mobiilikesäkoulu -tapahtuman idea ja rakenne. Vuoden 2014 tapahtuma käydään läpi muun muassa teeman, sisällön ja toteutuksen osalta. Lopuksi käsitellään tutkimusprosessi ja tutkimuksen tulokset ja johtopäätelmät.

Tutkimuksen tuloksista selvisi, että Mobiilikesäkoulu 2014 -tapahtuman toteutus onnistui erinomaisesti. Muutamista esille nousseista epäkohdista huolimatta tapahtuma oli kokonaisuutena onnistunut. Muutamat ongelmat käytännön toteutuksessa ja kohderyhmän uudelleen määrittely olivat tutkimuksen mukaan tärkeimmät kehityskohteet tulevissa Mobiilikesäkouluissa.

The subject of this thesis is a customer research for the participants of the MobileSummer School 2014- event. The purpose of this research was to examine the participants’ opinions of the event. The research was carried out by interviewing the participants during the event. The aim of the research was to identify development needs of the future MobileSummer Schools.

The theory part of this thesis consists of event management, mobile and mobile learning. The idea and structure of MobileSummer School is introduced. The theme, content and execution of the MobileSummer School 2014 are also presented. Finally the research process and the results and conclusions of the research are explained.

The results show that the execution of MobileSummer School was a great success despite of a few faults. The most important development areas in future MobileSummer Schools are some practical problems in the event execution and specification of the target group of the event.
