Development of Human Resources Using New Technologies in Long-Life Learning

Micu Bogdan Ghilic; Marilena Mircea; Codrin Nisioiu; Cătălin Silvestru; Marian STOICA (Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava, 2011-01-01)
Information and communication technologies (ICT) offer new opportunities to reinvent the education and to make people and makes learning more fun and contemporary but poses many problems to educational institutions. Implementation of ICT determines major structural changes in the organizations and mental switch from bureaucratic mentality to customer-oriented one. In this paper I try to evaluate methods of developing the lifelong learning programs, impact to human resources training and development and the impact of this process on educational institutions. E-learning usage in training the human resources can make a new step in development of the education institutions, human resources and companies.

STRUCTURAL MODELING AND ANALYSIS OF INTELLIGENT MOBILE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: A GRAPH THEORETIC SYSTEM APPROACH

Nitin Upadhyay; Vishnu Prakash AGARWAL (Association for Development through Science and Education, Romania, 2007-06-01)
This paper presents a new methodology using graph theory and matrix algebra to analyze software architecture based on systems engineering approach. It proposes a set of analytical tool to capture the notion of structural model as the basis to analyze characteristics of software architecture. In the present work, architecture (structure) modeling and analysis of intelligent mobile learning environment (iMLE) are presented that describe characteristics of performance, quality and reliability.

    STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS REGARDING E-LEARNING

Ileana Gabriela NICULESCU-ARON; Constanta MIHAESCU; Miruna MAZURENCU MARINESCU; Laura ASANDULUI (Association for Development through Science and Education, Romania, 2006-09-01)
We live in an era where IC&T generates numerous transformations to the classicway of learning. The most known results of these transformations concretise in two means oflearning through IC&T: e-learning and computer assisted learning.Just like the classical ones, these models assume the existence of an efficient learning processbased on an efficient cooperation and a communication activity well established. Within thisframework, the following question arises: „How this new method of learning is perceived andwhen it is best used and placed during the instruction process?”Seeking an answer to the above mentioned question, a joint academic staff from the reputedIasi’s University Al. I. Cuza an the well-known Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest haveorganized an inquiry through the students from both institutions regarding the perceptions, attitudes and expectations regarding e-learning. This paper briefly presents the main findingsof this inquiry.
