This paper documents our implementation of augmented reality (AR) applications which assist students in learning geometry concepts. The AR applications were developed with three main features: the first allowed students to use a tablet to scan a net (assembled with six square AR markers) which helped students to visualize the process of folding a cubic net into a cube. The second feature enabled students to observe a three-dimensional (3D) view of a real object when scanning it. The third feature helped students in visualizing the formation of an augmented object by scanning its three-dimensional views (front, right, and top). We tested the use of these AR applications with two classes of students. Students found the AR applications to be helpful when learning geometry concepts. Overall, they expressed satisfaction with the AR learning experienceDate
