Interest is in designing online courses, projects and activities that focus on the process of learning and the learning community tending to put lower priority on instructional aspects and instead promoting pedagogical approaches to use digital chances for problem-oriented learning, interest-driven learning and collaboration. Our project- and problem-based open online courses (pMOOC format is shortly introduced in the abstract) put collaboration in the center of learning. Collaboration took place within fixed groups. After finishing the course, these groups were interviewed (problem-based interviews) in respect to their learning experience. The paper presents perceived disparities between collaborative online learning and offline learning in place at the university.Date
