Abstract
Brazil is the oldest diplomatic partner and the biggest commercial partner of Australia in South America. However, the bilateral commercial level is relatively small. The aim of this paper is to present a general outlook of Australia, encompassing historical, geographic, political and economic aspects taking the exports, imports and commercial relations with Brazil as focus. To obtain that gold, foreign trade statistics of both countries are presented, which shows the restricted commercial volume. As main reason of the reduced trade, the transport and logistics issue should be looked at with more commitment by brazilian entrepreneurs and government.
