AbstractPeru is one of the largest growing countries in Latin America, as well as one of the most open economies. The present work has as its objective to analyze the trade relations between Peru and the Czech Republic in depth and what are the concrete business opportunities in Peru that Czech companies might be missing. The project starts with a description about Peru's macroeconomic indicators, as well as cultural differences with the Czech Republic, its position in some renowned international rankings, as well as some tips for doing business in Peru. After that, an analysis of the diplomatic and economic relations between Peru and the Czech Republic is presented, including the performance of Czech firms in Peru, followed by a trade analysis and the most traded commodities between these two countries, as well as the largest trading firms. Finally, a list with concrete industries for Czech companies to invest in is showcased, followed by some criticism by the author for all parties involved in bilateral trade between Peru and the Czech Republic.
