Incl. abstracts and bibl. referencesThe special section on school reform contained in this issue of the Kappan includes six articles about school reform based on research by the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE). Furhman and Odden introduce CPRE and describe its 'theory of action' about what it takes to make better schools. They introduce each of the articles that follow, which are written by CPRE researchers.
