Abstract

Wooden sarcophagus display case for wax relic figure of St. Victor from Providence Academy chapel side altar. 22.122a: Carved wooden case on rounded legs. Top opens, glass inserts on three sides and top to allow viewing of relic. Ornate carving. Painted at base of front window "Blood of Martyrs - See of Christians". b) Ornate "finial" attaches to back top of a). Gold detailing. Painted beige with gold/red accents.
