《舊雜譬喻經》研究

Abstract

[[abstract]]本論文從四個面向來分析《舊雜譬喻經》的特質，第二章中首先是由比對經錄記載、經文內容，以推論《舊雜譬喻經》的成書概況；第三章分析《舊雜譬喻經》各篇主旨，了解本經所涵蓋的佛家思想；第四章是探究《舊雜譬喻經》與中國文學的關係；第五章探討《舊雜譬喻經》對中國民間文學的影響。本研究獲得結論是：《舊雜譬喻經》是拾遺編集而成，所蘊涵的佛理兼容大乘與小乘，由於故事情節奇特，題材新穎，有些故事進入中國民間，發展成獨特的故事類型，有些則被文人改寫或取材，成為膾炙人口的小說。《舊雜譬喻經》雖然小巧，在佛教史與文學史上，卻有其不容動搖的地位。

[[abstract]]This paper is to analyze the characteristics of “Jiu Za Pi Yu Jing”, the second chapter focuses on the profiles of “Jiu Za Pi Yu Jing”; Chapter III analyzes the thrust of all the articles in “Jiu Za Pi Yu Jing”, in order to understand the Buddhist thought covered; fourth chapter is to explore the relationship between “Jiu Za Pi Yu Jing” and the Chinese literature; Chapter V is to explore the influence of “Jiu Za Pi Yu Jing” on Chinese folk literature.Here are the conclusions. First, “Jiu Za Pi Yu Jing” is a collection of residual articles of some scattered and lost Buddhist literature. Second, the stories contain both the Mahayana and Theravada Buddhism. Third, because the stories were unusual and the themes were new, some of them spread into the Chinese folk story and developed unique story types, and some were rewritten or drawn by ancient literati. Although “Jiu Za Pi Yu Jing” is thin, there is not shaken its position both in the history of literature and the history of Buddhism.
