Initially, the authors outline the origins and philosophical foundations of coaching, as well as the present condition of coaching ethics research in literature. They follow with a description of telic and autotelic values concept in coaching and its core philosophical and ethical principles. In subsequent part of the article, the authors consider the position of coaching as reflected in the changes of social awareness on the basis of a number of own models, as well as those already existing in literature.
