The Assemblies of God USA, from its inception in 1914, held the training of leaders as a high missiological priority. Nowhere was this truer than in the Asia Pacific region where, by 1960, sixteen three-year Assemblies of God Bible institutes helped to fulfill this goal. Most were directed by missionaries who wanted to turn them over to local leaders, but few Asians had the academic qualifications for the task."engWith permission of the license/copyright holdertrainingtheologychurchPentecostalismTheological educationChristian denominationsPractical theology and theological educationTeaching of theology, ecumenism, religionsTheological schools, associationsFEAST/APTS in Retrospect Part I - The Manila Years (1964-1980)Article
