Finalizando con el sentido que confieren los familiares a su ingreso a una organización y a la denuncia pública" ["This paper is part of broad research project that contains different experiences lived by the relatives of missing persons during the conflict that took place in Antioquia, Colombia, between 1982 y 2003 during the appearance of paramilitary groups. The objective is to document and account the social impact caused by the armed violence in Colombia. More specific, we focus our efforts on how the forced disappearance of personas impact life of farmers that were exposed to the conflict during a long period of time in the middle of confrontation of the different armed forces that intervened in the Colombian conflict. We capture experiences from farmers that initiated the search for missing relatives and were forced to leave their own farms and territories. We also capture some reflections about the new experiences that relatives have to face on their new life facing alienation in the city of Medellin, where they are forced to live in marginal conditions facing extreme puberty and vulnerability.
