Historically, Islamic radicalism had appeared in Khulafaur Rasyidin period, especially in khalifah Ali. The author states that sect of Khawarij is the first radical group in Islamic tradition. The author also states that Muhammad leadership in Madinah is a symbol of success leadership in protecting religion from radicalism.
