Se realiza un análisis de las propuestas de diversas instituciones que tienden a construir una normativa para controlar este tipo de problema ético. Se realiza, también, una reflexión crítica de esta denominación como un concepto más estratégico que ético, que pone los deberes éticos de los profesionales en el mismo nivel que los interese individuales. El trabajo analiza las responsabilidades del Estado en la protección de los derechos humanos, particularmente los derechos de los sujetos de investigación que pueden verse vulnerados por intereses, en especial financieros y la forma en la que los sujetos, las instituciones y el propio Estado deben ser protegidas de ellos" ["The present paper carries out an introduction to the concept of conflict of interest in biomedical research and its antecedents on the field of the ethics of research, intending diverse definitions of conflict of individual and institutional interest. This work makes an analysis of diverse institutions proposals that tend to build a normative to control this type of ethical problems.
