Los puntos de encuentro entre esta clave teológica y la realidad del contexto y de la pastoral juvenil del continente se convierten en oportunidades para reflexionar y lanzar nuevas propuestas pedagógicas y metodológicas que alimenten el proceso del caminar de la Iglesia con los jóvenes." "This article explains how Jon Sobrino’s “principle of mercy” can function as the spinal cord of the life and commitment of Christian youth communities in our present context. The author answers the question, Can there be processes in youth communities that favor the integration of personal inner life – shaped and moved by the reality of injustice – with human and Christian growth? The article stresses some of the most significant features of present cultural change, underlines parts of the development of Latin American pastoral youth work and explains the “principle of mercy” as formulated by Jon Sobrino.
