To cope with the problems, the maqāṣid al-syarī’ah approach can be employed to understand the verses of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, to reconsolidate the conflicting arguments, and to decide the legal standing to a case of which legal standing is not mentioned in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. The purpose is to make Islamic economy and finance relevant to the change of time and to reduce the turbulence taking place in the practice of Islamic economy and finance themselves.indWith permission of the license/copyright holderDevelopmentIslam EconomyMaqāṣid SyariahEconomic ethicsBusiness ethicsEthics of economic systemsReligious ethicsSpirituality and ethicsMethods of ethicsPhilosophical ethicsPENDEKATAN MAQĀṢID SYARĪ’AHJournal volume
