On the basis of a theological hermeneutics, Geffré seeks to develop the issue of religious pluralism as a fundamental challenge within the theology ofreligions at the eve ofthe thirel rniUenium. Without departing from a strong christological emphasis, this writer attempts to discover new parameters to understand the place of other religions in the plan of salvation, as well as Christianity's singularity as a dialogical religion.
