He tried to reconcile or integrate religion and philosophy. According to Al-Kindi, philosophy is true knowledge and religion explains about what is right. Obviously there is a difference between philosophy and religion. Both aim to explain what is true and is good. Religion in addition to the use of revelation also used mind, intellect and philosophy. Revelation does not conflict with philosophy.
