Abstract
Chevron has a long and proud history and worldwide reputation for honesty and integrity, two key values of The Chevron Way. Our well-deserved reputation underlies our past accomplishments and is critical to our future success. Our Business Conduct and Ethics Code explains Chevron policies on how we conduct ourselves and how we do business around the world. Whether an employee or member of our board of directors, each of us needs to understand and commit to this Code and the policies it discusses. All of us -- whether an employee or member of the board of directors - - must understand and comply with Chevron’s Business Conduct and Ethics Code. There are no exceptions.
