Abstract
"Este artigo, baseado nas Sagradas Escrituras e nos escritos de Ellen White, trata da natureza humana de Cristo. Nele, discorro sobre o significado de Seu esvaziamento e como isso afetou diretamente Sua vida e Seu ministério. Cristo é apresentado como tendo aberto mão de Seus privilégios e poderes e, por isso mesmo, Ele necessitou de manter comunhão com Deus, exercer fé e manifestar contínua dependência do Pai, para receber a sabedoria, o poder e tudo o mais que fosse necessário a fim de cumprir Sua missão" ["This article deals with the incarnation of Christ from a homiletic perspective, using the biblical text and Ellen G. White writings. I deal with Christ’s action of emptying Himself and how it directly affected His life and ministry. Christ is presented as having forfeited His privileges and powers, and thereby, being in need of communion with God, of exercising faith, and having a continuous dependence on the Father in order to receive wisdom, power and whatever was necessary to fulfill His mission"]
