Abstract
"El artículo plantea algunas líneas de lo que ha sido la lectura femenina de la Biblia, a través de la historia en occidente. Se revisan algunos momentos de la recepción femenina de la Biblia en la Iglesia: Marcela, en los primeros siglos del cristianismo, Cristina de Pizan, en su “Ciudad de las damas” y los manuales morales femeninos del siglo XIX. Se intenta mirar las condiciones que tuvieron las mujeres, para acceder al texto bíblico, e interpretarlo libremente y hasta qué punto su condición de “género” condicionó, permitió o liberó su relectura bíblica" "The article follows the lines of what has been the feminist reading of the Bible in the western history. It outlines some moments or aspects of the feminine reception of the Bible in the Church: Marcela in the beginning of Christianity, Cristina de Pizan in her book “The city of the ladies”, and the feminine moral manuals of the XIX century. It tries to understand the conditions women encountered when they acceeded the holy text and interpreted it freely, and also to what extent its “gendered” condition allowed them to read it"
