Abstract
Medical progress of recent years has largely expanded the potential for the treatment, but most of all for the early recognition of diseases and their causes. This leads to more security in the diagnosis of certain diseases. An ethical question emerges, namely how to deal with our increased knowledge in a conscientious and prudent way.
