"Sin embargo, no todas las personas están de acuerdo en que la Biblia entera expone un Dios amante. En su reciente libro considerado un best seller, el militante ateo Richard Dawkins no escatima palabras: “El Dios del Antiguo Testamento es, podría decirse, el carácter más desagradable de toda la ficción: celoso y orgulloso de serlo; un mezquino, injusto y controlador; vengativo, genocida étnico sediento de sangre, misógino, homofóbico, racista, infanticida, filicida, pestilente, megalómano, sadomasoquista, y un matón caprichoso y malévolo.” 1 Solo con esto –y mucho más puede ser dicho acerca del autor y su libro– Dawkins no ve en el Antiguo Testamento una descripción de un Dios de amor" ["However, not all people agree in that the entire Bible exposes a lover God. In his recent book considered a best seller, the militant atheist Richard Dawkins does not mince words: "The God of the Old Testament is, arguably, the character most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust and controller; vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic genocide, misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, filicide, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, and a capricious and malevolent bully. "1 Solo with this-much more can be said about the author and his book Dawkins sees in the Old Testament description of a God of love"]
