Abstract
"Esta pesquisa é um breve estudo exegético a cerca da identidade do Arcanjo Miguel. O texto base analisado é Judas 9, que retrata a luta entre Satanás e Miguel a respeito corpo de Moisés. A pesquisa é de natureza bíblico-teológica, que visa esclarecer quem seria a pessoa de Miguel nas Escrituras. Duas opiniões são levantadas acerca da identidade de Miguel: (1) Ele seria um anjo comum de destaque na corte celestial e (2) Ele seria Cristo. Quem de fato seria Miguel? Como entender a declaração de Judas? A pesquisa destina-se a responder estas perguntas. O método utilizado é da Leitura Atentiva do Texto (Close Reading), destacando principalmente o contexto histórico específico do livro de Judas e a análise léxico-sintática temática e teológica das palavras “Arcanjo”, “Miguel” e “Diabo”" ["This research is a brief study concerning the identity of the Archangel Michael. The text in focus is Jude 9 where the fight between Satan and Michael concerning the body of Moses is depicted. The nature of this research is biblical-theological and its goal is do clarify who is Michael in Scriptures. Two main opinions exists concerning Michael’s identity: (1) He is a common angel with a high standing in the heavenly courts; (2) He is Christ. Who in fact is Michael? How to understand Jude’s statement? This research wants to answer such questions. The method applied in this study is the Close Reading of the text, with special emphasis in the immediate historical context of the Book of Jude and the lexical and syntactical analysis of the words Archangel, Michael and Devil"]
