Abstract
Stellungnahme des Vorstands des Schweizerischen Evangelischen Kirchenbundes betreffend des Gegenvorschlags des Bundesrates zur Volksinitiative « Jugend ohne Drogen ». Der Vorstand lehnt die Initiative ab, weil somit das Schwergewicht der Drogenpolitik auf illegale Drogen konzentriert wird und die legalen Suchtmittel (Alkohol, Tabak & Medikamente) vernachlässigt werden. Außerdem, wird die Repression als Hauptinstrument der Drogenpolitik erklärt - eine Maßnahme die den sozialen Abstieg von abhängigen Menschen fördert. Opinion of the Board of the Swiss Protestant Church Federation concerning the counterproposal of the Federal Council on the popular initiative 'Youth without drugs ". The Board rejects the initiative, because it focusses primarily on illegal drugs and neglects legal drugs (alcohol, tobacco and drugs). Moreover, it advocates the use of repression as the main instrument of anti-drug policy – a measure which accelerates the social marginalisation of addicted people.
