Abstract
"La polemología está poco cultivada en el mundo hispano en comparación con otras sociedades, como la anglosajona. En la actualidad, con motivo del uso extendido de la práctica occidental de la guerra y su uso de una tecnología avanzada, la bioética debe elucidar sus consecuencias a fin de no escindir los actos políticos de los actos éticos. Así, este artículo procura abordar esta cuestión desde el pensamiento de Santiago Ramón y Cajal, la historia misma de la práctica occidental de la guerra y lo aportado por algunos intelectuales contemporáneos para concluir con ciertos talones de Aquiles existentes para la enseñanza actual de la polemología en Latinoamérica" ["Polemology is rarely cultivated in the Hispanic world in comparison with other societies, such as Anglo-Saxon society. Today, on the occasion of the widespread use of Western practice of war and its use of advanced technology, bioethics should elucidate its consequences so as not to split the political acts of ethical acts. Thus, this article attempts to elucidate this issue from the thought of Santiago Ramón y Cajal, the same history of Western practice of war and the contributions of some contemporary intellectuals to conclude with some existing Achilles heels for the current teaching of polemology in Latin America"]
