Abstract
"El presente artículo tiene como objetivo mostrar como la alianza del Sinaí (Éxodo 19-24) aparece embebida en el proyecto de salvación de Yhwh para con Israel. Esta alianza es así una continuación del proceso de liberación de Egipto y a su vez imprime en Israel su identidad como pueblo de Dios. Metodológicamente hacemos una lectura del texto en su forma final y nos centramos más en los aspectos narrativos que los “histórico-críticos” . Articulamos este trabajo en los siguientes puntos. Primero hacemos una breve descripción de la etimología del término berit y el contexto de los pactos en el antiguo cercano oriente. Luego, en un segundo punto analizamos los pactos entre la divinidad y distintos seres humanos en el libro del Génesis. En tercer lugar hacemos un análisis del pacto con Israel en Éxodo 19-24 y nos preguntamos por su lugar narrativo y su sentido teológico." "The present article intents to show how the salvation's project of Yhwh with Israel permeates the Sinai's covenant (Exodus 19-24). This covenant is then a follow-up of the liberation's process from Egypt and, at the same time, stamps in Israel its identity as God's people. Methodologically, we read the text in its final form and focus more in the narratives aspects than in the "historical-critical" ones. We organize this paper in the following points: First, we briefly describe the etymology of the term berit and the context of the covenant in the Ancient Near East. Then, in a second point, we analyze the covenant between the divinity and different human beings in the book of Genesis. Third, we examine the covenant with Israel in Exodus 19-24, asking about its narrative place and its theological sense."
