Abstract
This study discusses the methods of dakwah (proselytizing) of the prophet Muhammad that caused him to become the most influential figure in the world. This study is a qualitative research using library (literature review) and the historical-philosophical approach. Sources of the data collected are books of sirah nabawiyah, historians and scholars researches, and also the sources of the core teachings of Islam, al-Qur`an and Hadith. This research found that the method of the Prophet Muhammad in conveying his message so successful in a short time and can reverse Arab civilization includes five things: common sense and logic, morals and ethics, spirituality, achievements and persuasive approach.
