Abstract
"Las tasas de deforestación sufridas por los bosques cordobeses no tienen parangón a nivel mundial, superando incluso a las correspondientes a bosques tropicales en otros países pobres. En este artículo, escrito especialmente para Hoy la Universidad, Marcelo Cabido –colaborador del Panel Intergubernamental sobre Cambio Climático que ganó el premio Nobel de la Paz en 2007– y Marcelo Zak, ambos investigadores y profesores de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, analizan la magnitud del problema a escala global y regional, haciendo hincapié en el caso de Córdoba" ["Deforestation rates suffered by the Cordoba forests are unmatched in the world, surpassing even those for tropical forests in other poor countries.
