Abstract
"No descubro el Mediterráneo si digo que la Biblia es un libro humano, formado de muchos libros, todos ellos grabados por la mano, el corazón, la memoria de hombres y de mujeres muy concretas. Un libro, una escritura, un texto humano. Se dirá además que es un libro inspirado, una escritura sagrada, un texto revelado, y así es. Pero ¿cómo entender lo segundo sin entender lo primero? ¿Cómo leer la Biblia en cuanto revelación de Dios si no sabemos leerla como libro humano? No es seguro que sepamos leer un libro, tomarlo y abrirlo –tolle, lege– como quien espera una visita o aguarda una revelación, como quien recibe y reinventa un oráculo, como quien interpreta un pentagrama, como quien recrea un paisaje, como quien acaricia una piel" ["No discover the Mediterranean if I say that the Bible is a human book, consisting of many books, is all recorded by hand, the heart, the memory of men and women very specific. A book, a script, a human text. They also say it is an inspired book, a sacred writing, text revealed, and it is. But how to understand the latter without understanding what first? How to read the Bible as revelation from God if we do not read it as a human book? Not sure what we can read a book, take it and open it -tolle, lege- like someone waiting awaits a visit or a revelation, as the recipient and reinvents an oracle, who plays as a staff, and who recreates a landscape, as if caressing skin"]
