Abstract
"O vocábulo pecado é usado só numa esfera restrita do conhecimento humano como é a Teologia e a Religião ou disciplinas afins, sendo ignorado ou simplesmente omitido nas outras áreas do saber científico ou no campo especulativo das ciências chamadas humanas. Ainda mais, a idéia de pecado é difusa ou inexistente em algumas grandes religiões que afloraram através dos séculos. Diversos estudiosos da Palavra de Deus concordam na possibilidade de emitir conceitos de pecado baseados em proposições lógicas que permitiria formar um conjunto racional e do qual seria possível chegar a uma definição específica. Há, na realidade, dois sistemas ou duas vias que possibilitam encarar o problema: o primeiro, mediante o conhecimento do significado restrito ou lexicológico dos termos bíblicos que aparecem nas línguas originais, hebraico e grego; e o segundo, através do significado semântico ou interpretativo que se concede à palavra em questão" ["Sin word is used only in a restricted sphere of human knowledge such as theology and religion or related disciplines, being ignored or simply missed in other areas of scientific knowledge or in the speculative field of human sciences calls.
