Abstract
"A ética é construída histórica e socialmente a partir das relações colectivas que as pessoas mantêm entre si nas suas práticas de sociabilidade educativa e reporta para o domínio dos valores. Neste artigo, a apresentação e análise de algumas orientações políticas internacionais relativas à problemática do envelhecimento activo permite problematizar o carácter tecnocrático e instrumental que perpassa nessas orientações de teor economicista e, simultaneamente, permite mostrar que os valores inerentes a uma educação “para a decisão, para a responsabilidade social e política, para o desenvolvimento e para a democracia” tendem a estar ausentes dessas orientações. Nesta sequência analítica, defendemos que na ausência de um código deontológico estatalmente legitimado, os educadores devem proceder à construção e consolidação de uma ética educativa crítica que lhes permita perceber as desconexões axiológicas entre o que a ética do mercado exige e o que uma ética educativa comporta. Uma ética educativa crítica torna-se assim condição fundamental para uma nova concepção de educação num mundo cada vez mais envelhecido mas, nem por isso, cada vez menos pensante. A “educação para o trabalho”, vista como envelhecimento activo, é só um dos muitos vectores da educação, quiçá em não correspondência com todas as expectativas e desejos das pessoas idosas, lá para o fim das suas vidas" ["Active aging: an analysis in the light of a critical educational ethics Ethics is constructed historically and socially from the legal relationships people have with each other in their educational practices of sociability and reports to the domain of values. In this article, the presentation and analysis of some international policy guidelines on the issue of active aging allows question the technocratic and instrumental nature that permeates these economistic content guidelines and simultaneously allows to show that the values inherent to education "for the decision, for social and political responsibility for development and democracy "tend to be absent these guidelines. In this analytical result, we argue that in the absence of a state-legitimized code of ethics, educators should proceed to the construction and consolidation of a critical educational ethic that will allow them to understand the axiological disconnects between what the ethics of market demands and what an educational ethics behaves . An educational criticism ethics thus becomes a fundamental condition for a new educational concept in a world increasingly aged but not so less and less thinking. The "education for work", seen as active aging, is just one of the many arenas of educational activity, perhaps not in correspondence with all the expectations and desires of the elderly, towards the end of their lives"]
