"Portada Exodo 121No es poca cosa medio siglo, y eso es lo que ha pasado desde la clausura del concilio Vaticano II en el 1965. Llegábamos al concilio con no pocos anhelos y avances fraguados en décadas anterio- res. La convocatoria del Papa Juan XXIII alentó nuestras expectativas. Todo parecía indicar que se abría una nueva época, y ese fue el sentimiento que más cundió en la cristiandad. La pregunta que en este número nos hace- mos es la siguiente: ¿Si se hubieran llevado a cabo el espíritu y las propuestas de reno- vación del Vaticano II hubiéramos entrado en la crisis actual que padecemos? ¿No hay en él elementos que nos hubieran ayudado a entender y superar la crisis?" ["Home Exodus means 121 is no small thing century, and that is what has happened since the close of Vatican II in 1965.
