Abstract
The paper explores the integration between Islamic values and Malay Tamadun tradition shaping the Malay culture today,which is cannot be separated with Islam. This integration also influences Malay people, and Malay nation in showing their identity among Southeast Asia communities. One of the keys which can explain why Malay people quiet succes in protecting their own identity is the adaptive ability toward the changing situation.
