Abstract
"El presente ensayo analiza la recepción y la hermenéutica del Concilio Vaticano II a la luz del siguiente interrogante: ¿cuál es su significado histórico y teológico? La interpretación del Concilio sigue siendo un tema de gran actualidad porque viene a coincidir con la pregunta sobre el ser y la misión de la Iglesia en el mundo contemporáneo. El autor propone dos claves hermenéuticas: el aggiornamento pastoral y la apertura misionera de la Iglesia al mundo. Estos rasgos diseñan la peculiaridad del Vaticano II en la historia de los concilios." "This paper analyzes the reception and hermeneutics of the Council Vatican II in light of the following question: What is its historical and theological significance? The interpretation of the Council remains a topic of great interest because it coincides with the question on the being and the mission of the Church within the contemporary world. The author suggests two hermeneutical keys: aggiornamento pastoral and missionary openness of the Church to the world. These characteristics have defined the peculiarity of Vatican II in the history of the councils."
