Abstract
This paper aims to analyze the paradigm of education in the perspective of surah al-‘Alaq verse 1-5. Based on the data and the analysis which are done to surah al-Alaq verse 1-5, the writer gives a notion that Al-Quran teaches the Islamic followers to increase their knowledge. The contain of surah al-Alaq verse 1-5 has given the provision for human life to be the Khalifah fil ardh (the leader of the earth). Some values which are contained in these verses are akidah value (oneness) and akhlak (moral) value.
