Abstract
"Se realiza un diagnóstico de la situación actual del pensamiento fi losófi co y cómo repercute en lo que signifi ca ser persona humana. El campo del profesional sanitario, por su propia naturaleza pragmática, se nutre de y refl eja una fi losofía sobre quién es la persona enferma a la que se atiende y cuál es su dignidad, sea consciente o no de hacerlo así; por ello, es de particular interés estar alerta sobre cómo incide en este terreno la bioética, que no debe tener como sede propia, única y exclusiva, el ámbito académico, sino que ha de inspirar y, paradójicamente inspirarse, a partir del gran público, del hombre de la calle. A partir de este supuesto se refl exiona sobre el papel del farmacéutico con ofi cina de farmacia" ["A diagnosis is made of the current situation of philosophical thinking and how it has an effect on what it means to be a human being. The very own pragmatic nature of the fi eld of the health professional, whether he or she is aware of it or not, implies and refl ects some kind of philosophy about who the sick person is and what constitutes their dignity. For this reason, it is particularly interesting to remain alert about how bioethics infl uences this realm. Bioethics must not stay only and exclusively within academia, but it should inspire and be inspired by the general public and the average person. From this standpoint a refl ection is made on the role of the pharmacist running an outlet"]
