Abstract
西方现代新闻伦理观念是一个矛盾的体系，同时也在西方普适价值的基础上形成了 一些基本理念，也即新闻之善或新闻道德的核心价值。这些核心价值是：新闻自由、报道真相 （truthtelling）、社会正义、毋伤害（the principle of nonmaleficence）与媒介效益。
