"La tecnología ha incidido grandemente en el desarrollo de la humanidad, al influir en la manera de pensar y actuar de los individuos. En el campo agropecuario, se puede afirmar que la emergencia de nuevas técnicas y prácticas ha motivado a los agricultores a buscar mejores metodologías y tecnologías, con el fin de aumentar la producción y la productividad. Los matices del mundo tecnológico del agricultor están referidos a aspectos sociales y económicos. El aspecto social incluye su arraigo a las áreas de trabajo y a las prácticas y variedades locales que refuerzan su identidad. La participación de los campesinos es vital para el éxito de la conservación y la rehabilitación ambiental, porque poseen habilidades, conocimientos técnicos y capacidades organizativas para manejar los recursos naturales que han permitido la vida durante milenios" ["Technology has greatly influenced the development of humanity, to influence the thinking and acting of individuals.
