Abstract
The paper emphasizes the isue of tolerance among different religioun groups seen from Islam's perspective, especially from historical evidence practiced by Muslem societies in the past. Here tolerance is seen as the existence of the room for mutual respect between different groups in the matter of muamalah or social interaction.
