Abstract
"En la Iglesia primitiva encontramos diversas tendencias teológico-pastorales respecto a un asunto capital: abrirse al mundo pagano o quedarse encerrados en el mundo judío. Las tendencias son las siguientes: avanzada, centrista, conservadora (capaces de dialogar), y avanzada y conservadora extremas (incapaces de dialogar). La “gran Iglesia” opta por el pluralismo; de hecho, históricamente se impone la tendencia avanzada. De ahí podemos sacar pistas para el diálogo de tendencias en la Iglesia actual. Introducción Presentaremos la manera como la Iglesia primitiva vivió la realidad dialéctica unidad-pluralismo, y eso, en medio de un conflicto tan fuerte que apenas podemos imaginarlo. Historicidad de los datos Haremos uso, fundamentalmente, de los datos bíblicos, aun cuando puede surgir la duda sobre la historicidad de dichos datos. Es cierto que no todos los detalles que presenta Lucas en los Hechos de los Apóstoles son estrictamente históricos. Sin embargo, algunos de ellos lo son: aquí no lo discutiremos. Podemos afirmar, por otra parte, que tienen más garantía de historicidad las “tendencias” mencionadas en los Hechos que algunos datos o episodios concretos. En este trabajo tomamos las tendencias y alguno que otro dato que nos parezca guardar coherencia con las tendencias. Se puede afirmar, además, que en el tema que nos ocupa, Pablo es más de fiar que Lucas.
