Es un tema tabú para muchos y censurado para otros, principalmente donde la influencia católica es fuerte. Pero quiérase o no, la vida del Santo Oficio está sólidamente establecida en los anales de la historia. La inquisición sentó sus reales en tierras iberoamericanas donde encontró todo el apoyo de los reyes españoles.
