Abstract
"La finalité des AA1000APS (2008) est d’offrir aux organisations un ensemble de principes internationalement reconnus et librement disponibles pour encadrer et structurer la manière dont elles appréhendent, gèrent, administrent, mettent en œuvre, évaluent et communiquent sur leur obligation de rendre compte. Les principes AccountAbility AA1000 sont, en premier lieu, destinés à l’usage des organisations dans l’élaboration d’une approche responsable et stratégique du développement durable. Ils leur permettront de comprendre, gérer et améliorer leurs performances en matière de développement durable. Par ailleurs, les utilisateurs d’autres normes de la Série des AA1000 appliquent ces principes conformément aux exigences de la norme AA1000 correspondante." ["The purpose of the AA1000APS (2008) is to provide organisations with an internationally accepted, freely available set of principles to frame and structure the way in which they understand, govern, administer, implement, evaluate and communicate their accountability. The AA1000 AccountAbility Principles are primarily intended for use by organisations developing an accountable and strategic approach to sustainability. They will help such an organisation understand, manage and improve its sustainability performance.
