Abstract
"El artículo consta de dos partes diferenciadas. En la primera se examinan las implicaciones ontológicas, éticas y jurídicas del concepto de persona partiendo de la Filosofía griega, el Derecho civil romano y el Cristianismo. En la segunda parte se advierte cómo el actual avance de la Genética permite extender al nasciturus el status de la persona basándose en la identidad del programa vital. Sin embargo, los códigos jurídicos, con excepción de la legislación de Costa Rica, están lejos de ofrecer una versión inequívoca del embrión como persona". ["The article consists of two parts. First, the ontological, ethical and juridical implications of the concept of person since the Greek Philosophy, the Roman Civil Right and the Christianity are examined. Later, the actual advance of the Genetic allows to extend to the nasciturus the status of person by reason of the same genetic programme. However the juridical codes are today far from presenting a unequivocal lecture of the embryo as person, apart from the legislation of Costa Rica".]
