Abstract
"Este informe ofrece un conjunto de elementos para comprender el crecimiento de los evangélicos pentecostales en Chile y Latinoamérica durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX, sus proyecciones hacia la primera mitad del siglo XXI, sus relaciones ecuménicas y una reflexión sobre los mismos, a fin de facilitar una mejor comprensión de este fenómeno religioso. El informe también ofrece un conjunto de elementos a tener en cuenta a la hora de evaluar la participación ecuménica de los pentecostales dentro y fuera del país. Se proyecta a futuro una mayor participación ecuménica de los pentecostales, no solo debido a su crecimiento y creciente institucionalización, sino también por el desplazamiento del eje de la cristiandad desde los países del hemisferio Norte a los del Sur" ["This report provides a set of elements to understand the growth of Pentecostal Evangelicals in Chile and Latin America during the second half of the twentieth century, its projections to the first half of this century, its ecumenical relations and a reflection on the same, to facilitate a better understanding of this phenomenon religious. The report also provides a set of elements to account when assessing the ecumenical involvement of Pentecostals inside and outside the country. Projected future increased participation ecumenical Pentecostals, not only because of its growth and growing institutionalization, but also by the displacement of the axis of the Christianity from the North to South Hemisphere"]
