Abstract
The nature of this paper is exploratory. It explores the religion of Sikhism from a fresh perspective. It deals with the historical context in which Sikhism grew and also talks about the way that age has been interpreted. The author also deals in detail with the origin and development of Sikhism along with the life of Guru Nanak. Then, the paper briefly explains the teachings of Guru Nanak along with the life and teachings of other Sikh gurus.
